Parks

• The fun that can be had at a park is limitless. Girls can swing on the swings, play on the monkey bars or jungle gym, and build sand castles. They can also meet other kids from the neighborhood, or bring their own friends along for group day at the park. They can play basketball or kickball and fly kites. The park is a place where a girl's imagination can be free to wander, and she can explore whatever kind of game or activity she wants to create.

• Zoos and aquariums often go hand-in-hand to create a unique animal wildlife experience for young girl. She can watch her favorite animals play, swim, eat and interact with their own kind. Some animals are even allowed to interact with the children who come to visit them. Children's museums include entertaining exhibits complete with colorful scenery where kids can play with astronaut equipment, ride a virtual roller coaster, build houses or take interactive journeys through rain forests.. Some museums also have large playrooms filled with big foam playground pieces specially designed for children to climb. Many of these museums also include snack and lunch areas with tasty food made especially for a kid's enjoyment. • Take her to a live version of one of her favorite shows. Many children's and family theater organizations put on multiple productions a year that a little girl would enjoy such as "Marry Poppins," "The Little Mermaid," "Goldilocks and the Three Bears," "Hansel and Gretel," "Rapunzel" and "Rumpelstiltskin." Find out what her favorite stories and movies are, and look for a theater in your area that is putting on the same or a similar production.
