The Electric Show

Materials

  1. Hair comb
  2. Small pieces of paper
  3. Balloon

Directions

To create a static electricity field, have your child run a comb through his hair a few times. Then experiment by picking up pieces of paper with the comb. Next, blow up the balloon and tie it. Rub the balloon a couple of times against your child's arm or leg. Next, put the balloon against the wall and note how it sticks there. Go online and find out about static electricity so that you can explain how and why it works to your child.
