Garden Tour

Garden Tour

Materials

  • Wooden popsicle sticks or tongue depressor sticks (at a craft store)
  • Permanent paint pen
Directions

If you are lucky enough to have plants around your home, see if you can discover what they are called. Your parents might know or you could get a book from the library that has lots of pictures. Matching your plant to a picture is easier to do when there are flowers on the plants since plain leaves are harder to identify. Once you know the name of the plant, write it on a wooden stick with a permanent paint pen. Stick it in the ground next to the plant. When friends and relatives come to visit give them a garden tour. You will be proud to sound like a professional gardener!
