How to Use the Boys Height Calculator
When a baby boy is born, may parents and relatives wonder how tall the boy will be as an adult. Doctors can use a height calculator at the pediatrician' s office, but you can also use a height calculator at home. Here is the formula to estimate a boy's projected height as an adult based on the height of his parents. It should be noted that this is just an estimate, and there are exceptions to every rule.
Instructions
Convert the height of the boy's mother and father to inches. To do this, simply multiply the number of feet by twelve, and add the remaining inches. For example, 5 feet 5 inches would be 65 inches tall. Add the parents heights together and divide by two. For example, if one parent is 66 inches tall and the other parent is 64 inches tall: 66+64=130 130/2=65 inches tall For boys, the height calculator requires that figure to have 2.5 inches added to it. In our example, this would make our new figure 67.5 inches tall. Lastly, you must convert the inches back into feet and inches. Just divide by 12. In our example, 67.5/12= 5 feet 7.5 inches tall. You have successfully completed the height calculator! There is another height calculator for girls with a slightly different formula. See the related articles to find the height calculator for girls.
