Monster Truck Crafts for Kids

Using the Monster Truck Template at Busy Bee Kids Crafts, trace it with a pencil onto butcher paper. With your child, embellish and decorate the monster truck with whatever you feel is appropriate. You can color it, use stickers, paint it or cut out pictures from magazines to glue on it. Next, you'll make the wheels, which can be made out of paper plates, traced on paper or anything else you can imagine. When you're done, tape it to your child's wall for decoration to enjoy all year long.

A paper monster truck model is an excellent idea for children who are a bit older or more artistically advanced. Visit the Paper Toys website, and download and print the "Hummer" template. If you're very artistically inclined, you can modify the template by placing add-ons to make it look more like a monster truck. Let your child decorate the "Hummer" by placing stickers on it, coloring it or anything else he can think of. Use tape or glue to put it together.

For this activity, you'll need to purchase a child's t-shirt and a monster truck stencil from the craft store along with fabric paint.
