The first step is simply talking with you fertility doctors about what options they offer for donor sperm. Some infertility clinics have donor sperm available onsite. Other fertility doctors can refer you to a cyro bank that can have the sperm delivered to the doctor's office. If you use an offsite cyro bank your fertility doctors can still help you with arrangements. If you use a local sperm bank or a cyro bank you will need to look through their catalog of donors to select what donor sperm you want. You will be given information about the donor's health, physical appearance, educational background, and possibly a picture. Once you have selected the donor sperm you would like to use you will need to contact the sperm bank or cyro bank to notify them and pay for the sperm. You will also need to coordinate with your fertility doctors and the cyro bank on when and where the sperm should be delivered.
