Obtain frozen donor sperm. This can be done from a sperm bank or provided by a consenting partner. When a consenting partner is used, sperm must be collected and frozen by a medical professional. Have the donor sperm tested for motility, morphology and count. Sperm that fails on any of these criteria has a smaller chance of a successful fertilization. Chart or follow your menstrual cycle. This can be done by following the basal body temperature, taking your temperature once per day before getting out of bed or any movement.
