      Purchase a basal body temperature thermometer, ovulation sticks, or an ovulation scope. Take your temperature every morning, before getting out of bed, and write it down. When your temperature rises half a degree to a whole degree, you are probably ovulating. Ovulation tests require you to urinate on the sticks each morning. The sticks tell when you are ovulating. An ovulation scope uses spit to tell if you are ovulating.
