Cute Ways to Tell Your Husband You're Having a Boy
If you have recently announced that you are pregnant you will have to wait a while before you can find out the gender of your baby. Most women have an ultrasound done between the 18th and 22nd weeks of their pregnancy. If your husband is unable to go to the ultrasound appointment, you can come up with cute ways to tell him that it's a boy.

Blue Cake
-
A cute way to announce to your husband that your baby is going to be a boy is by having your baker make a gender cake. Inform him of the baby's gender and have him use blue food coloring or a layer of blue frosting inside the cake. The outside of the cake should be neutral. The cake can be covered in plain white frosting or a combination of pink and white that doesn't give away the baby's gender. Place the cake in front of your husband and have him cut the cake to find out that you're having a boy.
Custom Made T-Shirt
-
Once you find out the gender of your baby, a creative way to announce it to your husband is to wear a custom-made T-shirt. There are many online outlets that allow you to create your own T-shirt. You can pick a blue T-shirt and have "It's a boy!" printed on it in big letters. Wear the T-shirt when you are ready to share the good news with your husband. Don't say anything, just let him discover the words on the T-shirt by himself. You can do the same thing with a baseball cap.
Find Out Together
-
If circumstances make it so your husband cannot be at the gender-determining ultrasound, you can still find out the baby's gender together. Tell the technician not to share the gender of your baby with you and have him write it on a piece of paper instead. Have him place the paper in a sealed envelope and take it home with you. Once you are ready to share the good news with your husband, take him out on a dinner date. When you are in the restaurant, present the sealed envelope and open it together.
Books
-
Books can come in very handy when it comes to announcing the gender of your baby to your husband. After you've found out the gender of your baby, go to your local book store and look for "father and son" books. Have the book gift-wrapped and hand the gift to your husband once you are ready to announce the baby's gender. After unwrapping the book, he will realize that he's having a boy.
