How to Make Pacifier Clips

Babies tend to remove their pacifiers and throw them, especially when they are playing. Sometimes the pacifier will just fall out of their mouths while they are sucking on it. If that happens at home, it is easy to just wash and sterilize it but if it happened in a restaurant, you can't just wash it anywhere without sterilizing it. And the worst is if you don't put it back in the baby's mouth, he will keep on crying. This is why pacifier clips may come in handy, especially when you are not at home.

Things You'll Need

  • 12-inch ribbon
  • Suspender clip
  • Thread
  • Needle

Instructions

    • 1

Insert the tip of the ribbon to the loop of the suspender clip up to one inch. Make sure that the suspender clip is not faulty so you won't have to remove it again after the project is complete.

    • 2

Fold the ribbon that you have inserted over the loop. Sew it using the thread and the needle so that the suspender clip will be secured on the ribbon. You can sew the ribbon in any way you want. You can also sew it two or three times so that it will be sturdier.

    • 3

Insert the other end of the ribbon to the holder of the pacifier. Insert it up to an inch and fold it over until the end of the ribbon touches the other side of the ribbon and covers the holder of the pacifier.

    • 4

Sew the ribbon to secure it to the pacifier. You can also sew it two or three times to make sure that it is secure.

    • 5

Tug the pacifier lightly while holding the ribbon to check that it is sewed on securely. Also tug the ribbon on the other end where the suspender clip is. This will ensure that everything is secured so that if the baby tugs on the pacifier, the thread will not come loose.
