Foods & Finger Foods One Year Old Babies Can Eat

One year old babies are at the ideal age to start eating finger foods. Since she doesn't have many teeth at this age, it is important to give foods that she can gum or will dissolve easily in her mouth. Also, make sure your one year old only gets bite-sized pieces so the finger foods don't present a choking hazard.

  1. Produce

    • Cut up produce provides a healthy, easy food for one year old babies. Serve fruit like small banana chunks of banana or other ripe and peeled fruit such as mango, plum, pear, peach, cantaloupe, or seedless watermelon to a one year old.
