Instructions
Mixing Enfamil AR Powder
Wash your hands thoroughly and dry them. Wash baby bottles and nipples and sterilize them. Prepare water. Some physicians suggest water should be boiled or purified before using it in infant formulas. One way of preparing water is to boil it for seven minutes, then allow the water to cool. Do not serve the water hot, as it may cause a severe burn to the infant. Another option is to have bottled purified water on hand, for making formula. For every 2 fl. oz. of water, add one unpressed level scoop of formula. For example, if you desire a 4 fl. oz. bottle, add 4 fl. oz of water and 2 scoops of formula. Put the water and formula into bottle, screw on the lid or nipple, and shake thoroughly. Allow formula to sit five minutes, before warming the bottle for the baby.
