The First Years Steam Sterilizer Directions

Bottle sterilizers thoroughly clean baby bottles and other small baby items such as bottle nipples and pacifiers. Steam sterilizers are an efficient way to sanitize, allowing steam to enter any small crevice and completely eliminating any bacteria that you may have missed. The First Years Babypro Steam Sterilizer is made to hold up to five wide neck bottles, along with bottle nipples, bottle caps, pacifiers or small toys.

Instructions

    • 1

Wash and rinse any bottles or items that are to be sterilized.

    • 2

Place the sterilizer unit on a flat, dry surface.

    • 3

Remove all components from the sterilizer base --- lid, bottle chamber, bottle rack and accessory tray.

    • 4

Remove the measuring cup from the top of the drying rack. Fill the cup with cold water and pour it onto the heating plate twice.

    • 5

Place the bottle chamber back on top of the sterilizer base. If you are also using the accessory tray, place that on top.

    • 6

Place the bottles onto the bottle rack with the opening of the bottle facing down. Place any accessories onto the accessory rack with openings facing down as well. Place the sterilizer lid on top of the unit.

    • 7

Plug the power cord into an outlet, and press the "On" button to begin sterilizing.

    • 8

Wait for the sterilizer to turn off once it is finished. Allow at least 11 minutes for it to cool down completely before handling any sterilized items or using it again.
